This past year we have planted a lot together. Planting together means expecting a shared future together. We expect that planting together will lead us to a shared harvest of goodness together.
As we reflect on community life, we discover the integral role family plays in reintegration. One new thread weaved into the fabric of our community life has been opening our doors to family members of our community.
Welcoming family, sharing life, is a way of expressing how each other's history is constitutive to their new directions in life. Accompanying each other along the way is to participate in the mystery of redemption.
And now as we anticipate two more brothers joining us over the next two months, we have begun preparing their rooms. For each man's time with us we want them to discover their dignity not only through our accompaniment but also as we provide for their material needs.
