Hi, Joseph House Community!
A couple of weeks ago, Florida Representative Gallop Franklin stopped by Joseph House to see what we are about and, what it means for a person coming out of a long-term prison sentence to try and transition back into society.
Representative Franklin heard some of the stories about what goes on inside confinement dorms and prison in general. We all sat down and talked about some of the things we can do together to help. Fr. Dustin, myself, and the brothers that reside at Joseph House had a cordial conversation with Representative Franklin.
I want to thank Mr. Franklin to take time out of his busy schedule to share in this conversation with us, and gain a better understanding of the experiences and challenges of being formerly incarcerated.
