For the past 8 weeks, Arthur, dedicated each week day to learning the culinary arts at Refire, a culinary program for those returning to our communities. Each day brought new skills such like sautéing under varying heats, baking desserts and other delish meals, catering for others, food prep, knife skills that all of us should learn. Arthur feels like his greatest achievement these past few weeks has been multitasking in the kitchen. In Arthur’s own words, “At JH we make tacos, not tragedies!”
Joseph House was founded on the story of dreams coming true. We listen to the dreams of people and work with them to make them come about. We believe our world expands more and more the more we dare to take our dreams seriously. We dream so that others may dream even bigger. Arthur’s capacity to dream and make it a reality inspires our community!
